The Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League 2013 summer season has been suspended.
One of the greatest challenges of operating a league in Hawaii is to provide housing for 150 players. Unfortunately our league hotel, the Pagoda, is being converted into condominium units and the rooms that we formerly utilized for our players are no longer available. We tried to secure alternative accommodations for the boys for the 2013 season but there simply is no inventory on hand, particularly during the peak summer months.
We are working on acquiring our own facility to house our players but that will not be in position before the start of the 2013 season. Therefore, reluctantly we will have to suspend the 2013 season.
